Traini Counseling Blog

Why am I the best for you? Ninety percent of the websites I create are for
private practitioners.

I do this ‘ery day. I eat, breathe, and sleep private practice websites.

Ok, I actually sleep too.

I know how to connect the most popular EMRs to your website, so you can schedule clients with ease and get paid when you’re due. I’m familiar with HIPAA regulations and how you can safely and securely connect with your clients. I specialize in local SEO to get your practice ranking among the best.

I’ve worked with mental healthcare professionals across the country and take joy in helping them with everything from setting up their first website for their budding private practice, to assisting 30+ clinician group practices fine tune their website to better get in touch with potential clients. I understand that mental health, even in this day and age, can be a sensitive subject for many people, and that creating an inviting, understanding and informative platform for people to seek assistance is paramount.

So How Does Working With good.design Work?

What if I told you I could have a website ready to launch in as quick as two weeks? Really!

Depending on how you’d like to work with me, what package you select, and what extras you’d like to include, together we can have a website ready to go in as little as two weeks. Here’s what the general process looks like:

1. The Interview

Don’t worry, this isn’t that scary. This is just the opportunity for you to tell me about your practice, your niche, your ideal clients and your goals. We’ll look at your current website (if you have one) and websites you like the look and function of. Lastly, we’ll set due dates and I’ll give you homework (yes, homework!)

2. Homework

Again, not scary, but very important! If you don’t get your homework done, we can’t finish our project! This is where you play with Pinterest or Canva, look at colors, fonts, websites and pictures, feeling out your design aesthetic. You’ll also be given some guidance on what we need for content and photography.

3. Design Time

It’s go time! We’ll work together closely so you can see exactly what’s going on. Since the home page is your grand entrance to your website, once it’s built, I’ll have you review it, making sure it’s what we’ve envisioned for the website. From there, I’ll continue working on the website until it’s complete. Once finished, we’ll review it together over a video call, so you’ll learn how to edit your own website!

4. Launch

It’s go time baby! I’ll make sure your website is indexed with Google, connected to analytics and looks good on all browsers and devices. We’ll also double check that your forms, emails and other forms of communication are all connected and working. Then it’s time for you to tell the world you’re in business!

5. Training

This is the part where you get to learn a little of what I do, AKA, web design! Over a video call, we’ll go over how to login into your website and how to edit and update content, including any text or pictures. I’ll also show you how to add blog posts, and some best practices for getting them noticed. This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

6. Support

Don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye! Even after we’ve wrapped up our project together, I’ll always be here to offer additional edits or to answer questions. Don’t have time to make your own edits? No worries! You’re my priority as a loyal client and I’ll make sure to get to you ASAP.

In need of other services? I also offer blog writing, marketing, logo design, SEO services and more. I have great relationships with those who also do content writing and Google Ads.
