Climate Lit is a magnificent resource for educators, youth, authors, climate activists and others. Climate Lit’s mission is to “promote climate literacy as a means to transition to an ecological civilization” by offering a database of “resources to teach about climate change with literature, film, and other media for young people.” I have been absolutely honored to assist in the creation of Climate Lit’s branding and website.

Climate Lit’s website includes custom search modules that allow users to search for resources via a variety of options. These search modules use custom fields that relate to one another in a variety of ways, allowing Climate Lit’s admin to create database items that connect to glossary terms, categories, formats, topics, etc.
Along with a searchable database, Climate Lit hosts a plethora of climate literacy events. The website allows for users to register for events, schedule reminds and management to easily manage tickets and reservations.
For branding, Climate Lit wanted to keep their logo appealing to young audiences and representative of its mission.
